The Major Fair is an event hosted by the division of Student Affairs and coordinated by the office of Academic Advising. This event has representation from various majors, minors, student clubs/organizations and many other campus resources to best educate prospective and current students within their areas of study and bring awareness to the multitude of resources available to assist students get better acclimated to the university environment. In addition, students who identify as undeclared/exploring at check-in will be contacted by the Office of Academic Advising to provide them with further guidance and instructions on how to declare a major.

Electric Vehicle Showcase and Clean Air Day Fair

Stop by CSUCI's first Electric Vehicle Showcase and Clean Air Day Fair! During this event, you can talk to real electric vehicle (EV) drivers about their experience operating an electric vehicle and see a variety of different EV models. There will be no salespeople, so you can relax and ask all of your burning questions about what it is actually like to switch from gas to electric! Stroll by booths from community organizations and service providers to answer your questions about electric vehicles, charging options, rebates, electrical supply and other clean air transportation options, such as the Metrolink and Ventura County bus lines.

This will be a fun, no pressure event for you to learn anything you want to know from real EV drivers and see the different vehicle options.

The Learning Stories Conference

The Learning Stories Conference will be held hybrid (in person and also with virtual option for participants to attend). The Learning Stories conference will have international keynote speakers and New Zealand Maori school performance. There will be national speakers who will present workshops, including CI students, faculty, Ventura County community and educators from across CA. The conference will be co hosted by SOE/ECS, the non profit, "Supporting the Advancement of Learning Stories in America (SALSA): www.salsa-global.org and Educa (a international online Learning Stories software company) and local community partners.
