Channel Islands Boating Center (CIBC)
The CIBC is one of our unique amenities available for students.
The Channel Islands Boating Center offers exhibits for the local community, classrooms for CI courses, as well as boat storage for the university. Located in the Channel Islands Harbor, near Oxnard, California, this facility provides educational opportunities related to California and gives deeper insight into the ocean off our local coast.
The CI Boating Center is located at Channel Islands Harbor, near Oxnard, California and our research station is located on Santa Rosa Island. Both are prime areas for marine research and provides students with physical and logistical support for a variety of activities.
